Shehbaz told the speaker to hold the meeting in accordance with the Supreme Court’s decision. He said that the opposition would remove the “chosen” prime minister today through a legitimate and constitutional process.
He also thanked the opposition leaders for their efforts to fight against the wrong decision, which led to benefits for the whole country.
Shehbaz advised the speaker to set the past aside and to stand up for the rule of law and the Constitution. He told the speaker to do what he had to do and have his name “recorded in gold words” through history.
“You must seize this opportunity with conviction, using both your heart and brain. Do not follow the appointed prime minister’s dictates. ” He pleaded with Qaiser, noting that the Supreme Court’s directions were unambiguous.
In response to Shehbaz’s sincere request, Qaiser informed him that he would handle the procedures in accordance with the law and the Constitution. However, the critical point is that there has been discussion of a multinational conspiracy. This should be considered as well, “he said.
This caused Shehbaz to inform the speaker that if he followed that path, he would be breaching the court’s directions. Additionally, he read the court’s directions for convening the hearing.
“You are required by the court to take up just one agenda item. That is the order’s aim, and you may not stray from it, “he said, pleading with the speaker to immediately take a vote on the motion.
“The Supreme Court’s rulings will be carried out in their entirety,” Qaiser said, handing the floor over to Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
