As a result of the killing spree of Indian troops in the IIOJK region, Pakistanis are very angry.
Pakistan strongly condemned the killing spree of Indian occupation forces, which led to the deaths of two more Kashmiri youth in Srinagar on April 10, 2022, during a staged cordon and search operation.
There have been more than 560 innocent Kashmiris killed by the Indian occupation forces in staged encounters since August 5, 2019, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said on Monday.
Anti-Muslim “Hindutva” plans in India led the BJP and the RSS to form a coalition. The military crackdown and extra-judicial killings in fake encounters and staged operations in IIOJK were part of this.
A group of 900,000 people from India were stationed in the IIOJK to keep the Kashmiri people from speaking out. Kashmiri youth were a special target.
The Indian Occupation Forces also broke the law when they shot two Kashmiris inside a mosque compound in Handwara, Kupwara district, on April 7, 2022.
When the holy month of Ramadan came around, the Indian occupation forces didn’t stop repressing innocent Kashmiris. Instead, they made it even worse. The unrelenting killings of Kashmiri youth and the willful attacks on Muslim worshipers, such as harassment and intrusive surveillance of those who visit mosques, show that the Indian Occupation forces in IIOJK have a lot of Islamophobia and that the Kashmiris have a lot of basic rights that are being violated.
Last year, Pakistan released a dossier that showed the world that the Indian occupation forces in the IIOJK were guilty of systematic oppression, human rights violations, and war crimes against the people they were there to protect.
The Islamabad Declaration was made at the end of the 48th Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. It unequivocally condemned the huge violations of human rights and persecution of Muslims in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
There should be an investigation into extra-judicial killings in IIOJK by a Commission of Inquiry as recommended by UNICEF, Pakistan said in its Kashmir Reports in 2018 and 2019. A Commission of Inquiry should be set up to look into the killings.
Pakistan said other countries should hold India accountable for its actions against innocent Kashmiris. They also said that they should help solve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute in a way that is in line with the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and what the Kashmiris want.
