Nawaz Sharif summoned by NAB on March 20

ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has been summoned by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to appear before him in a land allocation case with Director Jang Geo Media Group Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman.

NAB says that Nawaz – when he was the prime minister of Punjab – then placed the 54-year-old landmark in 1986 to MSR. The former prime minister was summoned by anti-grafty officials at 11:00 am on March 20, 2020.

It is fair to say here that Nawaz is in London where he is treated for various ailments. MSR was arrested by NAB a few days ago when he appeared in front of a Lahore office in connection with a private case.

The property in question was, in fact, a private purchase, and all the evidence, including legal requirements such as duty and taxes, was, in this sense, donated to an anti-bullying organization.

The MSR left on Thursday when he was called in to confirm the complaint, but he was arrested.

Responding to a Jang Group spokeswoman denied the allegation.

He said: “Over the past 18 months, NAB has sent our reporters, producers and editors, directly and indirectly, a number of notices, threatening the closure of our channels (via PEMRA) as a result of Jang / Geo Group reporting and its plans regarding NAB. In its defense, NAB has written that the institution is constitutionally protected from criticism. ”
