rupee goes up sharply against the dollar.

The value of the rupee rose by Rs3.02 against the dollar.

KARACHI On Tuesday, the inter-bank market showed that the US dollar was getting stronger against the Pakistani rupee. This meant that the Pakistani rupee was getting stronger against the US dollar.

Details show that the local currency gained 3.02 rupees against the U.S. dollar and was being traded at around 234. Pakistan’s central bank said that the rupee ended the day on Monday at Rs237.02.

With today’s daily gain, the rupee has gained a total of Rs5.65 in the last two business days.
