Musk claims that Twitter will include gold and grey checks in addition to the blue verified symbol.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter, said in a tweet that the company will roll out verified gold and grey check marks with the reintroduction of the much sought-after blue check service next Friday. The deployment had been delayed earlier this week.

“Checks are in blue for people, grey for governments, and gold for businesses (celebrities or not). “Painful but essential” posted in a tweet by Musk.

Before the check is triggered, all validated users will undergo manual authentication, according to Musk.
Another tweet from Musk stated, “Individuals can have a secondary, tiny logo to show they belong to an organization if verified as such by that organization,” and he promised to provide a more detailed response next week.

Due to the proliferation of fake accounts, the company had to halt the recently announced $8 Blue Check subscription service. It had previously been stated that the popular Blue Check subscription service would resume on November 29.

Prior to now, only verified posts by public figures like journalists, politicians, and other well-known people have been given the blue check mark.
