ADB will give Pakistan a package of aid and help to get back on its feet.
The plan will aid in the the development of and ensure financial stability for the agricultural sector.
ISLAMABAD Asian Development Bank (ADB) will soon offer Pakistan with a massive assistance and rehabilitation program, to improve the infrastructure and improve livelihoods.
In the short and long-term the bank will make use of ongoing projects to fix damaged infrastructure, such as the roads as well as irrigation structures, and help to develop and strengthen the stability of the financial stability of the agricultural sector in order to increase food security.
The bank also processes countercyclical aid to help the vulnerable and those in need, especially children and women, despite the effects of rising the price of food and other external shocks.

On a long-term basis the bank will prioritize projects that aid the post-flood reconstruction process and build resilience to disasters and climate changes.
The funds are in addition to $3 million amount the bank has already granted for the purchase of tents, food and other aid items It added that the bank will provide further details about its assistance program after it has been approved.
