A well-known crypto trader thinks that MATIC could reach $1 in the near future.
Michael van de Poppe, a well-known crypto trader and the CEO of Eight Global, went on Twitter on October 7 to explain what he thought would happen to Polygon (MATIC) over the next few days.
In the Twitter post, Van de Poppe says that he thinks MATIC will keep going up like it has. He then went on to say that he thinks MATIC could reach $1.
Not only the CEO has high hopes for MATIC, but so do a lot of other traders. Other analysts think that by 2025, MATIC could be worth $3.95.

CoinMarketCap, a website that tracks the cryptocurrency market, says that MATIC is currently trading at $0.8376, down 0.59% in the last 24 hours. In the same time period, it reached a high of $0.8489. Even though the cryptocurrency is down today, it is still up more than 8% in the last week.
Also, MATIC was able to gain 0.83 percent and 0.19 percent against the two biggest cryptocurrencies on the market, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), over the last day.
MATIC’s 24-hour trading volume has also taken a hit today, dropping by just over 29% to about $288,298,531.

With a market capitalization of $7,330,084,976, MATIC is the 11th largest cryptocurrency right now. This makes MATIC the second-biggest cryptocurrency, right behind Dogecoin (DOGE) and ahead of Polkadot (DOT).
