An analyst increases Ukraine’s grain harvest and export predictions for 2022/2023.
KYIV (Reuters) – Analyst APK-Inform upped its projections for Ukraine’s grain output and exports in 2022/23 on Saturday, citing a better-than-expected winter harvest.
According to the consultant, Ukraine might harvest 41.4 million tonnes of grain in 2022, including about 17 million tonnes of wheat and 18.5 million tonnes of maize.
It also said that exports could rise to 33.2 million tonnes in 2022/23, up from 29.9 million tonnes previously thought.
