ISLAMABAD – This is the city where I live. On Wednesday, opposition party leaders said that refusing to vote on a no-confidence motion by breaking the Constitution is an attack on Parliament, Dunya News said in a report.
Members of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam (JUI) met together at the home of the JUI leader, F‘s Maulana Fazlur Rehman, in Islamabad.
Following Qasim Suri’s ruling, a lot of people came to the meeting to talk about the political situation in Pakistan.

After the meeting, PDM president Maulana Fazlur Rehman told the media that the joint opposition thinks that the rejection of the no-confidence motion by breaking the Constitution is an attack on Parliament.
We need to get rid of this unconstitutional rule right away because it is an attack on the foundations of our democratic system.
The opposition also said that those who broke and hurt the constitution should be punished in a unique way.
People in the opposition say that the Constitution Day of Pakistan will be celebrated all over Pakistan on April 8. They also say that a lawyer’s convention on the protection of the Constitution of Pakistan will be held at the same time.
