ISLAMABAD, The National Assembly Secretariat has released a 27-point agenda for tomorrow’s (Monday) session, which includes a no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
All eyes are now on the National Assembly, which is scheduled to reconvene today at 4 p.m. after a two-day break following Friday’s adjournment.
The most recent NA session was adjourned almost immediately after it began with a recitation of the Holy Quran in the chair of NA Speaker Asad Qaiser, rather than consideration of the no-confidence vote against the prime minister.
On March 8, after the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) long march in Islamabad, opposition parties tabled a resolution of no confidence against Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan. As many PTI lawmakers have spoken out against Prime Minister Imran Khan, the opposition is sure that their resolution will be passed, which means that they will be able to pass it.
As the important no-confidence motion session approaches, political relationships remain shrouded in ambiguity.
