The Twitterati have backed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sharmila Faruqi after she accused actor and presenter Nadia Khan of making fun of her mother’s cosmetics at a wedding.
Following the virality of Nadia Khan’s video, which appeared to show the host insulting the politician’s mother, social media users began to criticise Khan for her inappropriate behaviour.
Despite the threat of legal action, the Zun Mureed actress, Sharmila Faruqi, warned her fans that she would not succumb to petty means to drag someone down!
“I respect every individual’s personal struggle, in both private and professional life, and would not fall to the low depths that most people do,” the lawmaker stated in her Instagram storey.
