World Bank endorses 19 195 million advance for Pakistan
An understanding has been reached among Pakistan and the World Bank, later which the World Bank will give an advance of 195 million to Pakistan.
The understanding was endorsed by Secretary Economic Affairs Division Mian Asad Haya-ud-Din, World Bank Operations Manager Anjum Ahmed.
As per the World Bank, the cash endorsed for the advance to Pakistan will be utilized to further develop the energy area. Under the arrangement, steps will be taken to work on the functional proficiency of Hesco, Mepco and Pesco. It will likewise aid the execution of changes in the power area under the National Electricity Policy 2021.
