Due to OFAC compliance, Ethereum is getting closer and closer to being completely banned.

Since protocol-level censorship makes it harder for the crypto ecosystem to reach its goal of making finance very open and easy to use, the community has been keeping an eye on Ethereum’s growing compliance with standards set by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). In the last 24 hours, it was found that over 73% of the blocks on the Ethereum network were following OFAC rules.

In October 2022,Asian Trade wrote about how fears of censorship were growing after it was found that 51% of Ethereum blocks met OFAC standards. But data from mevWatch showed that, as of Nov. 3, 73% of the blocks being made each day were OFAC-compliant.
