rupee keeps making gains against the dollar. 

Karachi On Friday, the inter-bank market showed a new recovery of the Pakistani currency against the US dollar. This was the fourth working day of the week that the currency was stable.

Details show that the local currency gained Rs1.94 against the US dollar, which is now worth Rs220. Pakistan’s central bank said that the rupee ended the day on Wednesday at Rs221.94.

Dar, who took over as Finance Minister from Miftah Ismail, said that the real value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar is below 200 and that the government is working on a plan to bring the US dollar down to below 200 against the local currency.
