At Rs240, the dollar hits its all-time high.
The greenback was traded at Rs240
KARACHI The US Dollar continued its climb against the Pakistani rupee on Wednesday, hitting an all-time high in the interbank markets.
Details show that the greenback traded at Rs240 today after a rise of Rs1.09 since yesterday’s close at Rs238.91.
Despite the fact that State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), received much-needed funds from International Monetary Fund, the greenback is still winning.
Experts predict that the country’s borrowing requirements will rise in the aftermath of flash floods which have caused massive destruction. This will increase the import bill.
