NIH FREE COVID TESTING

ISLAMABAD/RAWALPINDI: The National Institute of Health (NIH) has sped up the way toward leading free coronavirus tests in the capital however the reaction of residents has been against desires.

Groups from the NIH in a joint effort with the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have been leading tests at the association chamber level.

As indicated by Deputy Mayor Syed Zeeshan Naqvi, who is working together with the NIH groups, free tests were led in four association chambers of G-6 and G-7.

Mr Naqvi said tests of 400 individuals in the four association boards were gathered on Monday.

It seems people are wrongly thinking that the govt will pick them up if they test positive, deputy mayor says. — AFP/File
