Instagram offers NFT display facilities in 100 countries.
San Francisco: Despite the declining reputation of cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) around the world, Instagram, which first offered an NFT display facility, has now announced its expansion to 100 countries and regions worldwide.
Under this facility from Meta, the main company behind Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, Instagrammers of all these countries will now be able to put their digital creations on their profile pages and sell them if there is a buyer.
In this context, Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg first presented his childhood baseball card with his signature as an NFT. In May of the same year, Instagram introduced this facility in the US, and now it has been extended to 100 countries. Under this, Instagrammers will also be able to add NFTs to their feed, stories, and direct messages.
Under the option, the NFT will appear on Instagram under the tag ‘Digital Collectibles’. By touching it, anyone can know its details and real owner. A new NFT tab has been added, which will also feature each hexagon symbol.
Now the facility of cryptocurrencies like Coinbase, Dipper, Ethereum, Flow, etc. has been offered for the buying and selling of NFT. Along with this, Instagrammers will also be able to link NFTs to wallets.
