WHEN WILL SCHOOLS OPEN? EDUCATION IN LIMBO

Malls  Markets and supermarkets all over Pakistan are open for business and are demolishing people, but Schools and colleges are abandoned and show no signs of reopening anytime soon.

Commercial traffic has come as the country ignores coronavirus cases to move forward with plans to reduce the closure.

Power travel, including domestic flights, also picked up speed ahead of the Eidul Fitr, marking the end of Ramazan.

Critics have welcomed this return to normalcy as a state of emergency and uncertainty, especially as the country recorded more than 1,000 cases daily in May, without exception

However, while commercial activity is launching across the country, there is still uncertainty about the future of apprenticeships, as skepticism continues with the expected launch in mid-July.

Government authorities and education experts fear that schools may not reopen for another six months, especially in remote areas where there are safety, hygiene and public access laws.
