ISLAMABAD – The Federal Government is thinking about a plan to raise taxes on money made through social media.
Details show that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has made it hard to get back on track and has asked the government to cut tax credits and allowances for people with high incomes.
Because of the conditions of the international lender, the government is thinking about a plan to raise the income tax on people who make more than Rs 1 million per year.
Sources have also said that there is a plan to raise taxes on income from online games, TikTok, and YouTube, among other social media platforms.
