RAWALPINDI: Four soldiers were martyred during an intelligence operation (IBO) in North Waziristan, the news agency said on Wednesday.
The Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement: “During the operation, seven terrorists were killed. In a severe fire, 4 security guards received shahadat including a police officer, and one of the soldiers was injured.”
The troops found dozens of arms, ammunition and IEDs at a hiding place in Datta Khel city of North Waziristan.
The martyrs have been identified as Lieutenant Agha Muqadas Ali khan, Lance Havaldar Qamar Nadeem, Sepoy Muhammad Qasim, and Sepoy Tauseef.
