Ukraine will get an extra $530 million from the World Bank.

As Russia’s invasion of Ukraine continues, the World Bank has said it will give an extra $530 million to help the country. This will bring the total amount of help from the bank to $13 billion.

In a statement, the World Bank said that the aid is paid for by the United Kingdom ($500 million) and the Kingdom of Denmark ($30 million).

The bank also said that of the $13 billion in aid to Ukraine so far, $11 billion has been fully paid out.

According to Arup Banerji, the World Bank’s Regional Country Director for Eastern Europe, the total cost of rebuilding and getting back on its feet in Ukraine over the next three years will be well over $100 billion. This is based on the most recent analysis by the World Bank.
