According to the state-run Anadolu news agency, the chairman of the national airline said that Turkish Airlines carried just over 72 million passengers this year and expects that number to rise to more than 88 million next year.
Chairman Ahmet Bolat was quoted by Anadolu as saying, “We plan to carry more than 88 million passengers in 2023.”
According to the report, Bolat said that Turkish Airlines plans to invest $3.8 billion next year and expects a 17–20% increase in capacity.

The flag carrier wants to have 427 planes in its fleet by the end of 2023, up from the 396 it has now. Bolat was also said to have said something.
