The sit-in on the National Highway, 250 containers of canoe stuck

Karachi: As a result of sit-in on National Highway, 250 containers of canoes coming from Punjab to Karachi port got stuck due to sit-in.

A sit-in on the National Highway in Qazi Ahmed is expected to affect the delivery of agricultural products from Punjab.

According to Waheed Ahmed, Patron General of Pakistan Fruit and Vegetable Exporters, Importers and Merchants Association (PFVA), this situation is causing severe difficulties to the canoe exporters. More canoe containers are also leaving Punjab and export containers. The cargo ship will leave tomorrow, with a loss of 4 4 million if the canoe does not arrive on time.

Waheed Ahmed said that the export of canoa is already facing difficulties. Due to high sea fares and shortage of containers, the export of canoa is likely to be limited to 300,000 tons this season. The revenue target is in trouble.

He appealed to the Sindh government to hold talks with the protesters and restore traffic flow on the National Highway as soon as possible.
