The Rajasthan Royals have unveiled a new jersey ahead of the IPL 2022 season.

The original season winners have maintained a pink and blue colour scheme.

The Rajasthan Royals have announced their new shirt for the Indian Premier League’s 2022 season (IPL). The franchise’s main social media accounts made the significant news on Tuesday (March 15). The inaugural-season champs have retained their pink and blue colours but have altered their design significantly. The jersey has horizontal stripes in various shades of pink.

Simultaneously, the jersey’s collars and sleeves are dark blue in colour. Happilo, a premium dry fruit brand, is the franchise’s title sponsor, and its emblem is featured in the centre of the shirt. The uniform also has the logos of other sponsors such as Dollar, Jio, and Red Bull. Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal, and RedBull stuntman Robbie Maddison were in a video that the team made to show off their skills and deliver the jersey.

“It was just incredible,” Royals captain Sanju Samson remarked after signing up for the special delivery. Robbie’s incredible feats were something I saw for the first time in person, having previously only seen them on television. (Would I ever consider taking up this sport?) Perhaps I’ll give it a go myself after I’ve retired from cricket (laughs),” he continued.

The Rajasthan Royals are determined to end their curse.

Needless to say, the new design quickly became viral as people voiced their opinions. Meanwhile, the Jaipur-based club would want to see a change in fortunes in addition to a change in uniform. After winning the first event in 2008, RR never qualified for the final. Indeed, their performance over the previous two seasons has been nothing short of dismal.

Nonetheless, club executives performed well during last month’s blockbuster auction, assembling a powerful roster. While the squad retained players like as captain Sanju Samson, Jos Buttler, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, it also acquired major guns such as Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Devdutt Padikkal, Shimron Hetmyer, and Yuzvendra Chahal during the auction event.

While the side seems balanced on paper, it has to be seen how their intentions will be carried out on the field. IPL 2022 will start on March 26, and people who love cricket should have marked their calendars to make sure they don’t forget.
