The opposition will lose a vote of no confidence, Dar Usman.

ISLAMABAD: The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs, Usman Dar, said Thursday that the opposition would lose a no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan because the majority of opposition parliamentarians were in contact with the government about joining the treasury benches.

Speaking to a private television station, he said that the country’s corrupt opposition party leaders were participating in horse dealing.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was brave because he told the world about a plan to harm his government.

Usman Dar said the prime minister has always put the national interest foremost rather than personal advantages, and he would never compromise on the national interest.

He said that the public should have complete faith in Prime Minister Khan’s boldness and honesty.

On March 30, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) announced that it would vote for the opposition in the no-confidence vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan. This decision came after weeks of talks with both government and opposition leaders.

In a joint press conference with opposition leaders in Islamabad, MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui emphasized that every clause of the agreement between his party and the opposition was for the benefit of the people.

He had remarked that MQM-P had chosen the national interest above personal benefit.
