LAHORE: A Punjab government-appointed special medical board has rejected a report on former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s health status, calling it “incomplete.”
According to reports, a nine-member board submitted its findings to the Health Department in writing. The convener of the special medical board is Prof. Dr. Arif Nadeem. The Punjab government established a special medical board to evaluate the PMLN supremo’s medical records, which were presented to the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Jan. 28.
According to sources, the special medical board found that Nawaz’s medical record consisted only of Dr. Fayaz Shawl’s observations and omitted all other medical records, including lab findings. No one from the health department was available to confirm receipt of the report from the special medical board.
