The ICC has announced its March player of the month candidates.

The following are the candidates for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award:

The Pakistan captain impressed the International Cricket Council when he played so well when Australia came to Pakistan.

Babar is the third-highest run-scorer in the history of the game, after Usman Khawaja and Abdullah Shafique. In this year’s Bernaud-Qadir Trophy, which was completed recently, His match-saving 196 in the second innings of the second Test in Karachi was the standout moment.

Babar maintained his great form throughout the ODI series. He struck 57 in Pakistan’s 88-run defeat in the first ODI before hitting 118 in the second encounter to lead Pakistan to a six-wicket victory.

Kraigg Brathwaite was a great player for West Indies when they beat England in the Test series at home.

Kraigg led the series’ run-scorers with 341 runs in six innings at an average of 85.25. With two half-centuries in his six innings, he made 160 runs in Barbados’ second Test, which was a great score.

Braithwaite was also named Player of the Series.

Cummins acted as the team’s captain and delivered an outstanding performance. Cummins was selected as Player of the Match for his bowling stats of 5/56 and 3/23 in the last Test.

The following are the candidates for the ICC women’s player of the month award:

Sophie Ecclestone, England’s left-arm spinner, had some outstanding bowling performances at the 2017 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup and finished as the tournament’s best wicket-taker. Throughout the competition, her devastating bowling enabled England to reach another World Cup final, when they were beaten by Australia.

Australia was fortunate to have a number of notable players on their side who contributed to their sixth World Cup victory. Rachael Haynes was one of those stars, and her great performance was vital to Australia’s success throughout the tournament.

Australia’s first match against England set the tone for the rest of the tournament, with a stunning century and three half-centuries setting the tone. Australia won the trophy for the seventh time.

In the recent ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, opener Laura Wolvaardt batted well. She was batting at the top of South Africa’s order and made some great selections for the team.

When Wolvaardt played eight games, he scored five half-centuries and made 433 runs at an average of 54.12. He finished fourth in the competition, though.
