Karachi’s Sindh Police have started to go after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members.
During the raids in different parts of Karachi over the last two days, about 51 PTI workers were caught.
So far, five workers have been arrested in Karachi’s Eastern District. Among them are Saif-ur-Rehman, a member of the National Assembly, and his coordinator.
Police went to six locations in the Gharbi district and arrested four PTI members, including Attaullah, who is a member of the National Assembly.
So far, 13 people have been arrested in the Kemari district. Among them is Faisal Wawda, the coordinator.
Eleven people have been arrested in the southern district, and one of them is Aftab Jahangir’s nephew.
On the other hand, along with the female police officers, more than 400 members of the anti-rights force were stationed in and around the Numaish square.
Police sources said that people from the Rapid Response Force had also been called to the exhibition square.
