Shahzad Akbar and Shahbaz Gill are unsure who placed them on the watch list.

Shahbaz Gill and former adviser to the Prime Minister on accountability, Mirza Shahzad Akbar, were questioned on Tuesday about who placed their names on the stop list at a period when there was no government and a vote of no-confidence was proceeding.

Shahbaz Gill said in a tweet that, on the one hand, the most corrupt person in Pakistan was elevated to prime minister via a foreign scheme involving horse dealing. On the other hand, “Who was in such a rush to place our names (on the list) on the nights of April 9 and 10, when the no-confidence motion had not yet been completed?” he said.

He said that he would take the unlawful act to the Islamabad High Court.

Shahzad Akbar said that the newly appointed prime minister initiated the retaliatory steps. A sarcastic thank you from him to the public: They had chosen a prime minister who had swindled Rs 16 billion and put the person who did his job on a stop list.

“I am contesting the imported government’s decision in the Islamabad High Court today,” he said, noting that the names were added to the list during the no-confidence night at 1:55 a.m. when there was no government or cabinet.

Both allies of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that the restrictions on their overseas travel were unlawful. They asked for the restriction to be lifted, saying there was no reason to believe they were guilty.

On April 11, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) added the names of many senior PTI officials and allies of former Prime Minister Imran Khan to its “stop list,” BOL News said.

In the past, the FIA had said that Imran Khan’s former special assistants Shahbaz Gill and Shahzad Akbar, as well as his former principal secretaries Azam Khan, Arslan Khalid, and Dr. Rizwan, had been added to the list of people who could be stopped by the government.
