Andre Cronje, a respected former founder and developer of the decentralised finance (DeFi) project, has returned to the scene after a long break to call for tighter regulations on the crypto sector in the wake of the failure of several firms this year.
The comments are similar to what FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) said last week when he called for stricter industry standards for digital assets, such as more protection for consumers and more transparency and disclosures.
