Islamabad: Pakistan has received the Letter of Intent issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
According to Finance Ministry sources, Pakistan will sign the letter sent by the International Monetary Fund and send it back, after which the IMF Board will approve the issuance of the next tranche for the program’s revival.
It should be noted that the hope of getting the installment is increasing after Pakistan’s continuous efforts to restore the program and the Army Chief’s contacts with various countries on this matter, while at the same time, the value of the dollar is gradually decreasing.
Because of the good economic signs, the value of the dollar has been going down for the past two weeks. As a result, the interbank rate of the dollar was Rs 215.79 today.
