PML-Q wants to be a part of Hamza Shehbaz’s case for a new CM.

PML-Q has asked the Lahore High Court (LHC) to become a party in a petition against the delay in the election of Punjab’s chief minister. The petition was filed by a member of the PML-N party, Hamza Shehbaz, who was angry about the election being held too long.

The leader of the PML-Q, Kamil Ali Agha, filed a miscellaneous application with the help of his lawyer, Amir Saeed, in a court.

There was a petition filed by Dost Muhammad Mazari’s opponent and deputy speaker, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. It said Elahi is also running to be Punjab’s chief minister, and that he should be a part of the case.

The lawyer said that multiple MPAs had been held hostage in different hotels and asked the court to free them.

On the petitions against the delay in voting, the court had already sent notices to the people who were going to be in court on April 11.
