PM Khan emphasises the need to invest in the technology industry in order to create jobs.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has emphasised the need to invest in the technology industry in order to create jobs for the young and enhance the country’s economy.

He advocated utilising the potential of youth in the technology industry to serve the country while speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Pakistan Digital City Special Technology Zone in Haripur, according to Radio Pakistan.

According to the prime minister, the special technology zone is a full ecosystem that will benefit future generations.

He claimed that in the past, highly educated youths were unable to find work because educational institutions were disconnected from the market. On the other hand, he argued that projects like the Special Technology Zones will create new job opportunities for them.3

Imran Khan stated that the current administration has removed hurdles in the technology industry, which has increased growth to 45 percent and is likely to reach 75 percent this year.
