OGRA PROPOSES RISE IN PETROL PRICES

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Wednesday proposed an expansion of about Rs7-9 for every liter in petroleum and fast diesel (HSD) for one month from now and about Rs6 per liter increment in lamp fuel and light diesel oil (LDO) rates.

Be that as it may, the legislature is relied upon to build the cost of petroleum and HSD by Rs4-5 for every liter by cutting down the pace of oil demand and permit about Rs6 per liter increment for lamp oil and LDO.

Educated sources said that Ogra, which was skirted a month ago in oil value alterations, has this time sent a working paper to the legislature to increase oil costs dependent on existing assessment rates and import expenses of the Pakistan State Oil (PSO).

The sources said the legislature was relied upon to at long last increment the cost of petroleum and HSD by Rs4-5 for every liter by cutting down the pace of oil collect and permit about Rs6 per liter increment for lamp fuel and LDO.
