Muhammad Hafeez has announced that he will no longer play international cricket.

LAHORE: After the Tests, Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafeez has declared his retirement from ODI and T20 cricket.

After the Tests, Pakistan’s all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez has opted to retire from ODIs and T20s. In 2018, Mohammad Hafeez announced his retirement from Test cricket.

Hafeez played 55 Tests, 218 ODIs, and 119 T20 internationals throughout his 18-year cricket career. Mohammad Hafeez has won 32 Man of the Match awards and 9 Barman of the Series awards throughout his career. Mohammad Hafeez has captained Pakistan in 32 international matches and has played in six one-day internationals and the T20 World Cup.

Muhammad Hafeez will play franchise cricket in the future. In the Pakistan Super League, Muhammad Hafeez plays for the Lahore Qalandars.

At a news conference in Lahore, Hafeez said he was happy to announce his retirement from international cricket.

He described himself as “fortunate” and “proud” to have worn Pakistan’s green hue for 18 years. Muhammad Hafeez also expressed gratitude to his family, teammates, support staff, and the Pakistan Cricket Board.

Mohammad Hafeez’s chairman, Rameez Raja, expressed his best wishes for Mohammad Hafeez, saying that he played cricket to the fullest and worked relentlessly to achieve a lengthy career in international cricket. Mohammad Hafeez expresses his gratitude to Pakistan for their outstanding contribution.
