MILAN (Reuters) – Italy’s antitrust regulator announced on Wednesday that it has initiated a probe into Samsung (KS:005930) and two other businesses for allegedly deceptive and aggressive business practises.
As neither sufficient nor suitable information was provided, the regulator said it was investigating the offers given by the companies to customers wishing to buy new mobile phones while selling their used handsets.
The statement noted that on Tuesday, inspectors from the watchdog searched the offices of the concerned companies.
