Islamabad is on heightened security alert ahead of today’s National Assembly session.

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly will hold a raucous session today, with the no-confidence resolution against Prime Minister Imran Khan on the agenda.

Islamabad’s security forces have been put on high alert ahead of today’s meeting of the National Assembly, which is taking place.

The training will begin at 10:30 a.m. with Rangers and FC officials stationed in the area.

It’s important to talk about the no-confidence motion, which is the fourth item on the six-point agenda.

When Prime Minister Imran Khan dissolved the National Assembly on Sunday, it caused a lot of political turmoil. The Supreme Court, on the other hand, took note of this.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court directed NA Speaker Asad Qaiser to convene the session on Saturday (today) to allow for the vote.

It was also said by the supreme court that the meeting could not be adjourned until the no-trust petition against Prime Minister Imran Khan was settled.

“It is announced that the resolution has been pending and continues to be pending and continuing at all times and will continue to be pending and continuing.”

On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan addressed the country on Friday and urged nonviolent resistance to the “imported government.”

The Prime Minister asked the people, particularly the young, to stand up for their sovereignty and voiced his unhappiness with the Supreme Court’s decision.
