IPL 2022: Five players who might fill the void left by Jofra Archer for MI

IPL 2022: Five players who might fill the void left by Jofra Archer for MI

Following the legendary super auction, supporters were taken aback when MI opted to pursue Jofra Archer. Although the English speedster has been injured since last year, his worth in the big auction had not diminished. Due to Archer’s inability to play in the 2022 season, several supporters oppose his inclusion on the MI roster.

It will be intriguing to watch who steps in as the side’s second seamer. Without a doubt, Jasprit Bumrah will lead the bowling assault. However, there must be someone who is completely capable of assisting him. Even though MI seems to be a poor squad on paper, they can put together an excellent team with the resources they have. As a result, MI supporters need not fear. Here is what we have jotted down-

Five players that might fill Jofra Archer’s IPL 2022 place Allen, Fabian

While MI dodoes do not have Jofra Archer, they do have a terrific all-rounder in Fabian Allen. The Windies all-rounder has been a consistent performer for his country. However, he has not been given enough opportunities to show himself in the IPL.

Allen has taken one wicket and conceded 90 runs in four IPL games. While the economic rate is reasonable, he might have done far better. This is because Allen has a respectable economic rate at 7.44 in T20Is.

Allen has a 136.92 strikeout-to-walk ratio with the bat. This demonstrates his ability to expedite the innings when necessary. Hopefully, Rohit Sharma will make the most use of his abilities.
