The interior ministry says that six terrorists who were linked to the Peshawar bombing have been found.
On Monday, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that six terrorists were linked to the Peshawar mosque bombing.
He told a press conference in Islamabad that KP police had identified a large number of terrorists related to the Peshawar mosque bombing and were certain they would be apprehended shortly. He continued by stating that some foreign powers want to destabilise Pakistan.
The interior minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has given the country the power to make its own foreign policy.
In addition, he set three local holidays from March 22nd to 24th in honour of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting in Islamabad.
Commenting on the political situation, the minister said that any vote of no confidence against the speaker of the national assembly (NA) or the premier would be defeated.
In response to a query, Rashid said that despite the growing worldwide cost of petroleum goods, the government has decreased fuel and diesel rates by Rs10 per litre and electricity prices by Rs5 per unit.
He said that no impediment would be erected to the Pakistan People’s Party’s (PPP) lengthy march and that security would be provided.
