Imran Khan first visit to Parliament House since his dismissal as Prime Minister.

As the country votes for its next prime minister on Monday, Imran Khan, Pakistan’s former prime minister and the leader of the Pakistan People’s Party, arrived at Parliament House in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

PTI members yelled chants in support of their leader upon his arrival. Khan said that when he was asked about the PTI’s huge power show on Sunday night, he said:

“Izzat dene wala Allah hai (God is the one who respects us).”

Hundreds of people from the PTI took to the streets across Pakistan to protest against Khan’s dismissal from office.

Khan will hold a meeting of the parliamentary party to make sure that the plan for the Prime Minister’s election and the mass resignations from the National Assembly have been worked out. This has caused a lot of friction at the party.

A lot of people were surprised when they saw that the former Prime Minister came early to the meeting, while most of the parliamentarians didn’t show up until later.
