Many WhatsApp users have been waiting for a feature that is now available. Last month, the site said that users of the app would be able to hide their online statuses.

The instant messaging service told India Today that the feature would soon be made available to everyone.
It will be easy to hide your online status on WhatsApp, and the tool will be available on both Android and iOS.
After opening the app, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner. Go to settings and then click on “Account. Click on Privacy when you get there.
When you choose Last Seen, you’ll see two more options: My Contacts and Nobody. When you click on My Contacts, your online status will be shown. You can choose who can see it.

Like the Last Seen feature, if a user hides their own online status, they won’t be able to see the online status of other users either.
