Megan Thee Stallion criticises the ‘illegal’ deal signed by a record company.

Megan Thee Stallion, a singer from Houston, has accused her record company of performing an “unlawful” manoeuvre to “bind” her to an “unconscionable” contract.

According to the complaint, 1501 Entertainment is seeking to classify her 45-minute Something For Thee Hotties as a single rather than an album in order to avoid counting it against her contract limit.

At tremendous expense and not in good faith, “1501’s new stance,” established months after the album’s release, is plainly a subterfuge in an effort to try to take further advantage of [Megan], at tremendous expense and not in good faith, according to an excerpt of the court document seen by Rolling Stone.

This comes after the record label slammed Megan’s legal beef on Instagram, failing to highlight any current advancements in the case in favour of distorting Megan’s image.
