Due to fears of gas crisis in winter, the government has prepared a load management plan. A proposal to cut off gas supply to CNG and general industry for two months is under consideration.
The gas load management plan for winter will be presented to the Cabinet Energy Committee today for approval. Various measures have been proposed to protect domestic and commercial consumers from serious gas crisis.
Apart from CNG sector and export sector, it is proposed to cut off gas supply to General Industry for two months, and also to Capt. Power for two months.
