LAHORE- The Punjab Chief Minister says wheat will be bought from farmers for Rs 2200 per maund.
He said that the Punjab government has come up with a plan to buy 3.5 million metric tonnes of wheat.
He said that an eight-member team has been constituted to oversee the purchase movement. Provincial ministers, special advisers, and ministers will supervise wheat procurement in pertinent regions, “he concluded.
