England’s Alex Hales drops out of the IPL 2022.

Shahrukh Khan’s KKR has withdrawn from the IPL 2022, dealing a blow to Shahrukh Khan’s KKR.

Shahrukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have resigned from the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 owing to “bubble fatigue,” dealing a severe setback to Shahrukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

“I am sorry to report that I have taken the incredibly tough choice to resign from the next IPL,” the top player stated in a statement.

Following his time in Australia, Hales said that after living in a bio bubble for four months and testing positive for COVID, he doesn’t feel comfortable committing to another long term in a safe place.

“I am extremely devastated to have to give up one of the finest possibilities of my career owing to the toll that the previous two years of bubble living have put on my mental well-being.”

The elite players will now relax and rejuvenate in preparation for the summer.

“I want to say thank you to KKR for believing in me during the auction and for their continued support in the last few weeks,” said the English player.

Hales’s outstanding performance for United in the PSL 2022 earned him a place in the IPL, where he was slated to play for KKR, who acquired him for INR 15 million.

Hales had previously quit the Pakistan Super League (PSL) because of “bubble fatigue,” but when Islamabad United made it to the play-off stage because of injuries, Hales came back to the league and played a few games for his team.

This is the second English player to leave the IPL after Jason Roy said he would not play in the league’s 2018 season.

Aaron Finch will take over for Hales.

KKR replaced Hales with Australia’s T20 World Cup-winning skipper Aaron Finch, NDTV Sports reported.

Finch will cost KKR INR 1.5 crore. The Australian player has played in 87 IPL games and scored more than 2,000 runs in IPL games.

KKR, two-time IPL winners, will open the IPL 2022 season on March 26 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium against Chennai Super Kings.

The IPL season will begin on March 26.
