Dollar continues to increase its lead over PKR.

The currency of the country depreciated by the amount of 82 the paisa.

KARACHI The US dollar is continuing to gain momentum in comparison to the Pakistani rupee, despite an increase in value.According to reports the local currency appreciated by 82 paisa against greenback and was trading between Rs219.25. The rupee closed in the range of Rs218.43 the previous day, as per the central bank’s figures for Pakistan.

But, despite the decrease the rupee has increased in the range of Rs20.69 from its record-high of Rs239.94.
