The Agricultural Development Bank of China, which is the government’s rural policy bank, gave loans totaling about 3.1 billion US dollars to 160 rural counties across China in the first four months of this year.
The total amount of loans given out has gone up by about 4.6 billion yuan since last year, according to the policy bank.
According to the report, a unique program would be made to keep the country’s main rural areas from falling back into poverty and to help with rural revitalization on all fronts.
As a result, the bank will offer customized financial services, make it easier for people living in rural areas to get loans and help bring more investment into rural areas.
It will also work with state-owned companies and agricultural leaders from the country’s more developed eastern regions to set up more investment projects in these areas.
