Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani is likely to make his Indian Premier League debut in the next season (IPL). He will join the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as a substitute for Mark Wood or as a net bowler. Even though there hasn’t been a formal announcement, it is clear that he will be in India soon to join the Lucknow team.
The Indian Ambassador’s official Twitter account in Zimbabwe verified the news of the fast bowler departing for India to compete in the cash-rich competition. It is unknown if Muzarabani is a replacement or has joined as a net bowler.

The tweet added that “the ambassador met with Zimbabwean bowler Mr. Blessing Muzarabani as he prepared to go for the #IPL2022. ” “The Ambassador wishes him and his team the best of luck,” the tweet added.
Taskin Ahmed was not permitted to participate in the IPL 2022 by the BCB.
LSG had already contacted Bangladesh pacer, Taskin Ahmed, about filling the void left by Mark Wood in their line-up. However, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) denied Taskin entry, citing the team’s ongoing South Africa trip. He is currently playing in the ODI series against the Proteas and will also play in the Test series. With the next home series against India, the BCB also took away his NoC for the IPL 2022, which he had planned to play in.
