Azerbaijan on Wednesday pledged to seek after military activity against Armenian separatists in the breakaway Nagorny Karabakh district until a full Armenian withdrawal from the contested domain.
Armenian and Azerbaijani powers are occupied with the heaviest battling in years over Karabakh, an ethnic Armenian territory that split away from Azerbaijan during the 1990s during the breakdown of the Soviet Union.
The long-stewing struggle emitted on Sunday with the two sides accusing each other for the episode of savagery.
“We just have one condition: Armenian military should genuinely, completely, and promptly leave our properties,” Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said in broadcast comments.
