A “failed” trading strategy is blamed for Freeway’s decision to stop withdrawals.

Crypto staking platform Freeway stopped user withdrawals earlier this week because one of its trading strategies didn’t work and the market was in a bad place.

The crypto yield platform announced on Oct. 23 that it was stopping all transactions related to its high-yield “Supercharger” product. At the time, it cited “unprecedented volatility” as the reason, but didn’t give any more details. This caused the price of its tokens to drop.
